ADVENTURES | EXPEDITIONS | DAY TRIPS
Situated at the head of Resurrection Bay on the Kenai Peninsula, Seward is one of Alaska’s oldest and most scenic communities. Located at what was originally the railroad terminus, Seward is now the premier gateway entry point for just about all travelers to Alaska. If you don’t arrive in Seward, you will most likely wind up in Seward. If Seward isn’t on your itinerary, plan it. Trust us, it’s totally worth it! Seward has so much to offer, and there’s a little something for everyone.
Experience trophy sport fishing, glacier and wildlife cruises, sailing, hiking, kayaking, flight seeing, summer dog sled rides, and more. Seward is one of the few Alaska “walking-towns” to where you can pretty much walk to all the cool stuff, and local guides and outfitters (like KBA) typically offer complimentary transportation from local accommodations.
Kenai Backcountry Adventures offers several trips and adventures departing from Seward. If we don’t have the trip you’re looking for, we have several top-shelf companies we work with that can fulfill your Alaska desires, just give us a shout and we’ll help you out.
We offer a variety of expeditions and multi-day trips from Seward. Even if the trip says it departs from somewhere other than Seward (e.g., such as Kenai, AK), please inquire as we may be able to include transportation from Seward to the trip starting point.
