Is this trip good for beginners?
Yes. This is a beginner-friendly whitewater rafting trip with fun, splashy rapids and a professional guide team. No prior rafting experience needed.
How difficult is the rafting?
Most days this trip runs Class II–III (easy to moderate). It’s exciting, not extreme — a great “first Alaska rafting” experience.
What ages can join?
This trip is great for kids, families, couples, and groups. Age minimum can vary by water levels and conditions — if you’re unsure, call/text us and we’ll help you choose the right day/time.
Do we need to know how to swim?
Basic comfort around water helps, but you do not need to be a strong swimmer. You’ll wear a properly fitted PFD (life jacket) at all times on the river.
Do you offer pickup in Seward?
Yes. We provide courtesy pickups within Seward city limits for guests who don’t have a vehicle. If you’re staying outside city limits, contact us and we’ll help you with the best meeting plan.
Do you have luggage storage?
Yes. We have secure luggage storage at our office—perfect for cruise ship guests and travelers who are checking out of lodging the same day.

Is parking free, and is there room for RVs/campers?
Yes. Parking is free, and we have ample room for RVs, campers, and larger vehicles.
Can I drive myself instead of using pickup?
Yes. You’re welcome to meet us directly at our office. Just arrive 30 minutes early for check-in and gear fitting.
Are there bathrooms?
There are no bathrooms in the backcountry. Facilities are available before and after. Bathroom breaks are done nature-style following Leave No Trace practices.
