What to Expect:
After gearing up at our Seward base, we’ll transport you to the trailhead near Exit Glacier. Here, you’ll receive a safety briefing and gear tutorial from your expert guide, followed by a short approach to the river’s edge. Once we launch, the adventure begins.
You’ll navigate gentle glacial waters that twist and wind through stunning terrain, past towering spruce forests and open views of the surrounding peaks. As Exit Glacier Creek merges with the Resurrection River, the landscape opens up into expansive gravel bars, splashy side channels, and classic Alaska river scenes. Depending on conditions and group ability, we’ll customize the route for excitement or ease — perfect for both adrenaline seekers and nature lovers.

IMPORTANT NOTES
- Arrival Time –Â Please arrive 30 minutes early for check-in and setup.
- Backcountry Facilities –Â There are no bathrooms in the backcountry, but facilities are available before and after your tour. Bathroom breaks are done nature-style, using Leave No Trace practices.
- Fitness Requirements – Participants must have a good-to-high level of fitness and be able to walk on slippery, uneven terrain, including rocky stretches, for possible extended distances and durations (portages if needed).
- Minors – Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
