Overview

There is just no other way to say it… you haven’t truly experienced the jaw-dropping beauty of Kenai Fjords National Park until you get out there on a snowmobile and snowshoes. Stare up in wonder at the towering Exit Glacier. Check. Breathe the fresh mountain air as you snowshoe across the snow covered landscape. Check. A friendly, local guide to share stories, show you hidden view points, and cozy up to a hot beverage beneath the ancient ice. Check, check, and check. With a fully-immersive experience and unbeatable price – it’s time you knocked this iconic Alaskan national park experience off your bucket list.

Your adventure begins when you check into your accommodations in Seward (included) the day/night before your first day of adventure. Get a good nights rest, and enjoy breakfast the next morning before you embark on big days in the backcountry. We’ll begin the first day with outfitting you for the weather, and a safety briefing from your skilled guide. If you have never ridden a snowmobile before we will start off with some easy riding to get you oriented to the machine and build your skills.

Each day will begin around 9am, and end around 5pm, with most of the riding and adventuring happening between 10am-4pm, some days may be longer or shorter. We’ll fill the days with lots of fun, adventure, and laughs as you explore the backcountry of our local national park.

Daily Sample:
Follow your guide on a stunning snowmobile ride into the Kenai Fjords National Park at Exit Glacier to an amazing glacier viewpoint and then ride to the Exit Glacier Nature Center.

Upon arriving at the Exit Glacier Nature Center, part two of your adventure begins. After a brief snowshoeing instruction you’ll follow your guide on a snowshoe hike to the toe of Exit Glacier. Get up close to this ancient ice, and enjoy lunch and a hot beverage while you experience the beauty that surrounds you.

Everyday will be a new mix of exploring and adventuring. While we may use some of the same trails, we’ll check out different areas, and mix up the activities. All days include snowmobiling into the national park, or other areas.

Exhilarating, Stable & Fun

Our quick-accelerating snowmobiles are simple to drive and stable enough for beginners to learn on – but fast and agile enough for deep cornering, and letting it rip on the open snow.

Access a Whole New World

While the majority of visitors stay on the pavement and pathways, you’ll ride into the Kenai Fjords National Park which is completely inaccessible from the road system during the winter. You’ll experience unforgettable landscapes only accessible by snowmobile, and snowshoe up to the base of Exit Glacier.

Local Gems & Hidden Hangouts

Discover the best-kept secrets of local snowmobilers. Your guide will show you where the best views are hiding, the perfect spot to jump in deep snow, and take you to the most”Instagrammable” views.

Award-Winning Guides

Beyond the jaw-dropping scenery, your experienced and friendly snowmobile guide will share stories, and local history, point out highlights, and answer any questions you have throughout the tour.

No Extra Fuel Fees

Most snowmobile tour companies make you pay for gas separately, but with us you get one full tank of gas included. This means less time filling gas & more time on the snow.

What an amazing experience. The hike was long and strenuous, but if you have hiking experience and endurance, it’s very doable. There are great views of the glacier along the hike and views of the trees and mountains. I was there in time to see the leaves turn orange/yellow. Brandon was a phenomenal tour guide. He was knowledgeable about the trees/plants and the wildlife and answered all the questions the group had. And he was great at spotting bears and goats in the mountains. Being on the glacier was an incredible experience. I was lucky enough to have a fearless group so we went all over the glacier and took countless pictures. Brandon was nice enough to take a group photo to remember the occasion. Definitely recommend the tour!!

We had an awesome day on the Exit Glacier with our guide Brandon. He was very knowledgeable, telling us so many fun facts about the berries, animals and glaciers. He took us to multiple amazing spots on the glacier hike -- moulins, crevasses, waterfalls -- wonders of nature that we've never seen before. It was a truly magical experience. We strongly recommend him and the KBA!

KBA put together an incredible trip packrafting around and downstream from a stunning glacier in the Alaskan range SW of Anchorage. Our guides, Kyle and Brandon, were super knowledgeable, personable, and adaptive to both the weather conditions and our group's needs. I'd travel with them again in a heartbeat -- thank you!
