Winter in Alaska has a unique beauty and adventure to it that you cannot find anywhere else in the world. Experience this for yourself on our Alaska Winter Adventure tour.

Tour Details

Your adventure begins with outfitting you for the weather, and a safety briefing from our skilled staff. If you have never ridden a snowmobile before we will start off with some easy riding to get you oriented to the machine and build your skills. Follow your guide on a stunning snowmobile (snowmachine) ride into the Kenai Fjords National Park at Exit Glacier to an amazing glacier viewpoint and then ride to the Exit Glacier area.

Upon arriving at the Exit Glacier area, part two of your adventure begins. After a brief snowshoeing instruction you’ll follow your guide on a snowshoe hike to the toe of Exit Glacier. Get up close to this ancient ice, and enjoy a hot beverage while you experience the beauty that surrounds you.

PLEASE NOTE: All tours are subject to current snow conditions. Early-season trips may consist of more “closed-road” travel to the Exit Glacier Nature Center, whereas, our late-season trips may consist of riding up a creek bed to within a short distance of the toe of Exit Glacier. We like to mix up the terrain we ride on, this tour may consist of riding on trails through a river valley and up a creek bed, and other times you’ll be on a “closed to autos” roadway; there may also be times we ride on the side of a road. Either way the riding, scenery and snowshoeing is AMAZING!
