Important Notes

  • Please arrive 60 minutes early to check-in and get set up
  • There are no bathrooms in the plane, or in the backcountry, though facilities are available before and after your tour
  • You must have adequate mobility for getting in/out of a bush plane, and in/out of a boat
  • Children/Youth must be well behaved and mindful of guide/parent/guardian instruction. For families with young children consider booking a private trip (call for details). Under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult

What to Expect for Seward Departures

KBA greets you at your place of lodging, or at a designated meeting point (cruise port, our office, etc). You’ll then be transported to our flight office in Kenai; approximately a 2.5 hour scenic drive. But don’t worry, we make the drive a fun “road trip” experience, looking for wildlife along the way. After your bear viewing tour, we’ll transport you back to Seward, approximately a 2.5 hour drive. Your total ground transportation for the round-trip is approximately 5-hours. If you have your own vehicle and want to do the drive on your own, please book the Kenai departure and meet us at our flight office the day of your tour. Please, bear in mind that road construction, and/or traffic delays may result in longer drive times.
