Important Notes

  • Please arrive 45 minutes early to check-in and get set up
  • Please note: Early season trips may entail traversing snow-covered terrain
  • There are no bathrooms in the backcountry, though facilities are available before and after your tour 
  • You must have a good-to-high level of fitness and be able to walk on steep, and uneven terrain, uphill for long distances, and for long durations
  • Children/Youth must be able to hike the distances listed, and must be well behaved and mindful of guide/parent/guardian instruction. For families with young children consider booking a private trip (call for details). Under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Please eat a hearty meal prior to arriving or your tour
  • Bring snacks, and a water bottle or two (water can be filled at our office)
  • Sturdy, well broken-in hiking boots or shoes
  • Waterproof rain jacket required, rain pants highly recommended
  • Gloves (for hand protection)
  • Clothes for dressing in layers
  • Camera, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray, and any personal items
