• Snacks and a Water Bottle: Stay fueled during your adventure. Water refills are available during the tour.
• Waterproof Rain Jacket: Required to keep you dry in unpredictable Alaskan weather. Rain pants are highly recommended for additional protection.
• Weather-Appropriate Clothing: Dress in layers and be prepared for the current conditions.
• Personal Items: Don’t forget essentials like a camera, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray, and any other items you might need.
• Gratuities for Pilot and Guide: Cash or Venmo tips are recommended to show your appreciation for their expertise and care.

IMPORTANT NOTES

• Arrival Time: Please arrive 60 minutes early for check-in and preparation.
• Bathroom Facilities: There are no restrooms on the plane or in the backcountry. Facilities are available before and after your tour.
• Physical Fitness & Terrain:
  • A reasonable level of fitness is required as we regularly walk distances of 1/2 to 1+ miles during Early-Season tours, and 1-3+ miles during the tour on Late-Season tours.
  • The terrain can be challenging, including soft sandy beaches, muddy and slippery estuaries, and stepping up, down, and over muddy, slippery sloughs with possible small creek crossings.
  • The further you are able to hike, the more opportunities we’ll have to explore different parts of the area.
• Children and Youth:
  • All participants must be able to hike the listed distances.
  • Children and youth must be well-behaved and follow guide, parent, or guardian instructions.
  • Families with young children are encouraged to book a private trip (call for details).
  • Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Group Minimums:
  • A 2-person minimum is required per tour during early season.
  • A 4-person minimum is required per tour during late season.
• Weight Considerations: The overall weight of the group may affect the number of guests and/or the amount of gear that can be accommodated per plane.
