POINTS OF INTEREST:
Sunny and hot weather, paired with active wildlife and epic turquoise waters equals a stellar August day in Alaska!!
WILDLIFE SIGHTINGS:
Bald Eagles, Salmon, Ducks
MEMORABLE MOMENTS:
Today’s respite from the rain made for an epic run down the Kenai River! The sun shone today as rafts full of Wounded Warriors paddled through epic waves. When the groups weren’t getting splashed by waves, they viewed bald eagles enjoying afternoon snacks of freshly caught salmon on the sides of the Kenai River.
