Packrafts are inflatable, one-person boats that fit in a light backpack, enabling adventures that combine trekking and paddling, while keeping it light and simple. These are on-the-go, inflate and float, wonder-craft!

Whether you’re interested in our no-experience-necessary Packrafting Day Trip or are looking for the ultimate guided multi-sport adventure, we’re ready to take you out for an Alaska Packrafting Adventure!

Packrafting Day Trips are an amazing way to experience this new exciting Alaskan sport in an Alaskan setting like no other. Our multi-day Alaska Packrafting Adventures offer you the opportunity to travel through the vast riverine, glacial, and mountain wilderness known only to Alaska. From no-experience necessary cruising river trips to extremely demanding packraft expeditions.

Our guided packrafting trips offer you the chance to see parts of Alaska most people never get to see.

Packrafting Gear & Equipment
We provide top of the line gear, made in the USA. Our fleet of Alpacka Packrafts are new and include a whitewater spray deck, gravity grip, and dry bag. At times we may have Packrafts available with the cruiser spray decks which can be left open.

On glacial river trips, or cold and wet days we also outfit our guests in full drysuits, river shoes, gloves, and socks in order to help keep you dry during your river adventure. *Please review individual trips to see what’s included and what’s not.

Alaska Packrafting Preparation
All of our trips are super fun, and there’s just something about Packrafting in Alaska that ignites the adventurous spirit in all of us!

Our Packrafting adventures include flat-water instruction and safety orientations as part of the package. On some of our multi-day packrafting adventures we may not have the luxury of finding perfectly flat-water for instruction, so we may conduct the initial packrafting instruction elsewhere before departing into the backcountry.

On all of our packrafting trips you need to bring your “can-do” attitude and willingness to learn, and we’ll teach you how to paddle and be safe in the water while packrafting. Unless of course you’re already a seasoned paddler, than it’s just a matter of hitting the water and having a great time while you show you some intense Alaska backcountry!

Please keep in mind, that experience may be required for some of our Packrafting Trips. You may also be required to have a certain level of physical conditioning for participation on a trip. Please review each trip carefully to make sure it’s suitable for your experience and skill level.

If you have any questions on what may be a suitable trip for you, give us a call and we’ll plan the perfect adventure for you!
