TRIP REPORT

ADVENTURE: Raft Kenai River & Hike Russian River Falls
POINTS OF INTEREST:
Today we got to take out a big group of Veterans for the Wounded Warrior Project. It was great meeting some of the men and women who served our country!
WILDLIFE SIGHTINGS:
Sockeye Salmon jumping out of the water.
MEMORABLE MOMENTS:
Rafting the Kenai River was awesome! The waves crashed over the boat soaking almost everyone in the raft. One of them stretched their leg so high in the air a huge puddle of water came rushing out of their boot! It was very therapeutic on the river today, the sun was shining weather was sweet! The hike to Russian River Falls was stunning. Lush green forest, lots of unique moss and lichen. We made it to the falls while enjoying great conversation amongst the group. It was a great day to be outside!
