ADVENTURE: Exit Glacier Ice Hiking Adventure
POINTS OF INTEREST:
Every day it seems like Nathan is noticing more and more ice. It’s awesome! So much exploring to be done. They got really far on the glacier during this trip. 7.5 miles in 7.5 hours.
WILDLIFE SIGHTINGS:
A fellow hiker on the trail, told us they spotted a bear; but our group unfortunately did not.
MEMORABLE MOMENTS:
It was another great day out on Exit Glacier. Nothing but sun, 70 degrees and wind was about 10-20 knots. The breeze we get while up on the glacier is so refreshing on hot days like this. Looking into the huge crevasses, and using hand lines to rappel ice walls was such a thrill for these adventurer’s.
