ADVENTURE: Seward Wilderness Hiking
POINTS OF INTEREST:
Walking around in the outwash plains was really cool. Seeing the ecological succession up to the glacier and how much it has receded all these years is so fascinating.
WILDLIFE SIGHTINGS:
Varied Thrush, and an American Robin.
MEMORABLE MOMENTS:
Strolling slowly through the park and really taking things in was very enjoyable. The blue ice on the glacier is absolutely beautiful. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for this hike through the Exit Glacier Park.
