TRIP REPORT

ADVENTURE: Bear Viewing Adventure
POINTS OF INTEREST:
We saw a lot of Bear Tracks, Wolf Tracks, Fox Tracks, Moose Tracks, and even Bear Cub Tracks. The weather was hot and sunny!
WILDLIFE SIGHTINGS:
Sow with Cubs, and a Big Male Bear.
MEMORABLE MOMENTS:
Another amazing day in the Backcountry! Started out with a beautiful flight in a bush plane. Once we landed we jumped out of the plane on to the beach we immediately came across a lot of bear, wolf and fox tracks. As we walked closer to the meadows the tracks looked fresher and fresher. We came across a Sow and her Cubs grazing in the meadow. Then another Sow and her two cubs came out of the meadows and walked along the cliffs. About an hour of watching these bears graze, they made their way back into the trees. Then minutes later a HUGE male Brown Bear made his was out of the trees and began exploring the meadow. Such an epic afternoon!
