ADVENTURE: Exit Glacier Ice Hiking Adventure
POINTS OF INTEREST:
The group’s epic adventure began as a drizzling, 50 degree day. Still, everyone was in great spirits and excited for the trip! Luckily the sun broke through by mid-day and it ended up being another beautiful day on Exit Glacier.
WILDLIFE SIGHTINGS:
No wildlife today 🙁
MEMORABLE MOMENTS:
It’s always fun to lead newcomers up onto the glacier. Today was a double-whammy, the group had first time glacier trekkers, and newlyweds!! An Alaskan adventure-based honeymoon sounds stellar to us! As the snow melts more and more glacial features are starting to show. We encountered a previously unseen crevasse, which was crossed safely by all!
