ADVENTURE: Seward Wilderness Hike – Moderate Option – Mt. Marathon
POINTS OF INTEREST:
What a beautiful sunny spring day for a hike! The group shed warm layers as they up hiked through a mossy Spruce forest and up into a snowy Alpine meadow.
WILDLIFE SIGHTINGS:
Red squirrels, Varied Thrush, Bear Signs
MEMORABLE MOMENTS:
Our group had a blast today in the picture perfect bluebird sunshine; an ideal Spring day in Seward, Alaska! Guides introduced our excited hikers to a variety of edible plants, and all tried something new, Devil’s Club anyone?! And what trip into the wilds of Alaska isn’t complete without a first time pee in the woods!
