Kenai Backcountry Adventures Alaska Courses focus on developing skills and experience that is essential in the backcountry. Whether the chosen course is packrafting, backcountry skiing, splitboarding, mountaineering, glacier trekking, wilderness navigation, backcountry camping, wildlife safety and protection, or firearms training, our students will venture into backcountry for real, hands-on training. 

Our courses are designed to provide a thrilling, challenging, and rewarding learning environment. We thoroughly believe in the “learning-by-doing” method, so our course take place in the type of environment you are training for. While there is some scenario, and classroom training, we conduct the majority of the course outside, in the real-world, exactly where you’ll need the skills.
