ADVENTURE: Packrafting on the Kenai River
POINTS OF INTEREST:
Another awesome day on the Kenai River. Today we learned how to Packraft and saw a ton of Bald Eagles.
WILDLIFE SIGHTINGS:
Mergansers and Bald Eagles.
MEMORABLE MOMENTS:
While going through the first rapid, called Princess Rapid; one of the Packrafters was having the time of their life laughing and screaming the entire way through. We hit HUGE waves at Schooners Rapid, crashing over the packrafts, soaking everyone. Good thing we had our drysuits on!
