TRIP REPORT
DATE: August 14th – August 18th, 2022
ADVENTURE: Alaska Bears Base Camp
POINTS OF INTEREST:
We saw so many bears!! Some even wandered into our base camp to check us out!
WILDLIFE SIGHTINGS:
Bears and Harbor Seals.
MEMORABLE MOMENTS:
We watched Digger, one of the local bears in the area, swim out to a fishing net to grab some lunch. Digger ripped the fish right out of the net! He’d come back up to the beach or even venture into the grass to enjoy his snack. He did this over and over again. I hope the fisherman weren’t too upset about their fish being stolen.
