ADVENTURE: Alaskan Bear Viewing ExperienceÂ
POINTS OF INTEREST:
We watched bears drink from the river and stand up on their hind legs! Its amazing how tall bears are when they are standing up right!
WILDLIFE SIGHTINGS:
Lots of Brown Bears
MEMORABLE MOMENTS:
After lunch we took a nice stroll into the meadow. We saw bears hanging out by a slough, snacking and drinking. As we wandered deeper into the tall grass another bear popped his head out to say hello. We were in such awe watching the huge brown bears graze. A mom and her yearling cub hung out with us for awhile. They ate and cuddled in the grass for hours. It was a very peaceful day in bear country today! It was a magical day.
