TRIP REPORT

ADVENTURE: Bear Viewing Experience
POINTS OF INTEREST:
In the morning we went on a beautiful hike along the river, following a bear trial. We chatted about the flowers, and what sort of things the bears eat. When we rounded the corner, a small bear was laying in the grass. A few minutes later, Mama Bear poked her head out to see what was going on. Everything was good and she didn’t find us a threat, so she nestled back into the tall grass.
WILDLIFE SIGHTINGS:
Juvenile Eagles, Baby Merganser Chicks, and lots of Bears.
MEMORABLE MOMENTS:
Mama Bear and her little cub took off running, and right after that an otter jumped out of the riverbank. A few minutes later a huge boar walked out of the trees. Then shortly after that excitement we found three more bears all taking naps! It was an adventurous and fun day!
