TRIP REPORT

ADVENTURE: Seward Wilderness Hiking
POINTS OF INTEREST:
As we ascended into the bowl we passed moss covered Spruce and Hemlock trees; Blooming Alders and Wildflowers. The trail to the Mount Marathon Bowl is waking up. It is so beautiful.
WILDLIFE SIGHTINGS:
We saw two Bald Eagles, doing their “cartwheel display”. Which is a courtship display where fully entangled, the two birds begin spinning to the earth, disengaging just before they smack the ground.
MEMORABLE MOMENTS:
Our guests today were awesome! They were on a sister trip embarking on an adventure before one welcomes her first baby. They were so positive, adventurous, and curious about everything in the world. It was another great day in the field!
